11 Months Already?

Dearest Andrew,

Happy 11 months to yooooou!  Well, here we are ELEVEN months old!  Seriously, how did this happen???  You are only one month away from being a year old!!!  I am just completely in awe!  Mommy has already ordered the invitations to your party and is starting to plan the decorations, cake, and food. 
We sure had a good month this past month.  You now say "Dada", "Daddy", and "Da" but no Mama yet unless of course you are upset, then it's "Mamamamamamama!!!"  Hehe!  I am patiently waiting! 

Well, your eleventh month here on planet Earth was full of fun!  You got tooth number eight and I do believe you are working on tooth number nine!  You started waving "bye-bye" and "hi", you hold your pointer finger (or both at the same time, especially when Mommy sings "One Way to God") up, and you clap ALL the time!  It really is too cute!  You are learning what "no" means and when Mommy says, "No, no!", you stop whatever you are doing and start clapping of all things!  I have to hold back my laughter!  Then of course you try whatever Mommy was telling you not to do again! :)

We took your second vacation to Dallas where we went to the Ft. Worth Zoo.  Mommy thought you would think that was the coolest thing ever, but you didn't seem to care a bit!  Hehe!  Oh well, Mommy and Daddy had fun and you see didn't seem bothered a bit.  You kicked your feet up and chilled out.  :)  We bought you a TON of clothes and ate at some very yummy places including California Pizza Kitchen where you had your first taste of one of Mommy's favorite foods, pizza.  You tried many new foods this month and you seemed to like them all!  You are such a good natured little fella! :) 

On our way back from Dallas we stayed with GiGi and Papa for a couple of days.  You had SO much fun hanging out with them!  GiGi took you on walks, took you out to her beautiful garden, and gave you a bath each night in the big tub.  When we got home, Mommy put the baby bath away for good and you now bathe in the big tub.  You LOVE bath time and would stay in there forever if I would let you.  You also LOVE to splash!  Thankfully there is a shower curtain Mommy can hold up to shield myself!

I guess that about sums it up!  We had such a wonderful month as always.  We will be celebrating your 1st birthday actually on your birthday so when I post about you being a year old (sob!) we will have pictures up of your birthday.  Okay, that is all I have!  I love you so, so very much my big boy!

Andrew & Mommy's First Mother's Day Together

Dearest Andrew,

Well, Happy 1st Mother's Day to me!  That may sound silly, but I am thrilled to saying that because I have YOU!  You have made my life so much better, so much sweeter!  Every single day has been a joy since you have arrived.  You make me happy when I am sad and your cute little face makes me smile like nothing else.  Thank you for all that you have done for me.  I cannot begin to imagine my life without you for you have made our family complete.  Being your mommy is the best job in the entire world!  I look back over the past almost 11 months and I see all that I have learned, all that you have taught me.  You have taught me patience (that's a big one for Mommy!), kindness, how to have even more fun than I was having, that the simple things in life are the best, and most importantly how to love like I never have before.  You are my prince and I love you to pieces!  Thank you for giving me such a joyous reason to celebrate this special day...just by being sweet little you!  I love you bug!

This picture is a little blurry, but I had to use a picture of us super happy because Blogger is finely user friendly!  Woo-hoo!  Okay, I know this is a silly post, but I am thrilled.  In the past it has been so contrary, but now it's much easier.  Mommy gets excited about the weirdest things, I know.  But you love me anyway! :)
